We're hosting all the soup events in our new facility this year. We want everyone to see the new room, and not to worry, we plan to bring the barn back next year.
So how does this work? Simple. Show up, enjoy some wine, enjoy some soup, go home happy. Be sure to read the full FAQ below for answers to some of your most common questions. Here are some highlights of the agenda:
- We'll greet you with a sample of something special. A healthy sample.
- We'll serve 3 courses of incredible gourmet soup. Yes: soup. Legit soup.
- Each course is paired with a different Rappahannock Cellars wine
- Sip/chat/enjoy and listen to some music in the background.
- In between courses, we'll take turns giving you updates from around the winery.
- We'll finish with a small bite of something sweet for desert.

Please take a moment to carefully read over the following frequently asked questions:
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: 11:45. The soup parties are structured events: check-in from 11:45-12:00...we'll serve the first course at 12:00.
Q: How many *complimentary* tickets are included per membership?
A: Two (2) total seats are available for each membership (member + 1). If you'd like to bring guests, please purchase guest tickets.
Q: The only date I can attend is full.
A: Let us know who is handcuffing your availability on the other dates - we'll provide complimentary beat down service. Kidding! Seriously though, we can add you to the wait list, but we "over-book" the event in anticipation of no-shows. So if someone cancels, you'll be in...but don't count on it happening, so do what you can to attend one of the dates that still have tickets left.
Q: But it really is the only date I can attend, and I REALLY want to come - I know it's full, but please? Pretty please?
A: Ever tried adding wine to a full bottle? Makes a mess - and nobody likes spilled wine.
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: We're a family winery, but this really is an adult event. So if ever there's a time to hire a sitter, this is definitly one of them. However, we're a big family, we know how it goes. Please purchase non-adult tickets for any of your underage guests who will be consuming soup.
Q: I might be running a little late - can I still come?
A: Yes. The soups and wines are served in a specific order, and so we want you to be able to experience/enjoy everything that we've planned for the afternoon. If you're running late, we'll seat you and start you on whichever course is currently being served.
